Thoughts

Whenever I see a phrase that catches my eye I write it down. I have a whole book of them. I refer back and when times are rough or I feel I need help getting back on track or just some guidance I read them. I thought I would share a couple.
“Happiness consists not in having much, but in being content with little”
-Marguerite Gardner, Countess of Blessington

S.T.O.P
S- Say the word S.T.O.P to interrupt your internal destructive thoughts. Tell yourself firmly to STOP thinking
T- Take a deep breath. Then take a break, if possible change the environment.
O- Focus on Outcome of the goal/goals that you’ve set for yourself. Think about why you are committed to your goal and yourself and remind yourself of the positive consequences of achieving it.
P- Praise yourself for the progress you are making. Remember you are looking for progress not perfection. (my aunt also added prayer. I agree)

*Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means you are two steps ahead.*

*Belief is the thermostat that regulates what you accomplish in your life. Believe BIG adjust your thermostat forward. Launch you success offensive with a sincere belief in yourself. Believe BIG and grow BIG -David Schwartz, PHD*

*Have no fear for what tomorrow may bring. The same loving God who cares for you today will take care of you tomorrow and every day. God will either shield you from suffering or give you unfailing strength to bear it. Be at peace, then, and put aside all anxious thoughts and imaginations. -St. Francis de Sales*

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change;
Courage to change the things I can;
And the wisdom to know the difference

*Love replaces fear*
